Martha’s task is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization offering a unique work training opportunity for women living in poverty.
Established in the year 2000, Martha’s Task provides beneficial programs of sewing instruction, marketing, financial support and advocacy as we help low income women become independent and self-sufficient. The community partners with us in this mission do-nating fabric and sewing machines used to provide job training and create beautiful items sold in our store. Our seamstresses keep 100 percent of the profit from each item they make that is sold in our Sew Original gift shop.
For more information on how to become a part of our program or support our work in the community contact Executive Director Laura Walton at 918-336-8275 or eat0@eau0eav0eaw0.
