January 29, 2026 | 12 - 1 p.m.
Bartlesville Area History Museum
401 S Johnstone Ave. 5th floor
Bartlesville, OK 74003
The Bartlesville Area History Museum is excited to announce our January “Lunch and Learn" event will feature guest speaker and former Collection Manager, Debbie Neece, as she presents her book “Washington County Aviation by Barnstorming Daredevils and Aeronauts!”
During her 18-year career with the Bartlesville Area History Museum and 12 years of writing for the Bartlesville Monthly Magazine, her goal was to help keep the history of Washington County in the forethought. Once retired, a valley opened for Neece to explore Washington County Aviation. Creating a deep admiration for the characters who had no idea they were making history, names like: Joseph Bartles and Joe Knight, Frank and L.E. Phillips, Billy Parker and Art Goebel, Wiley Post and Will Rogers, and many more.
This event will be held, January 29th, from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Copies of, “Washington County Aviation by Barnstorming Daredevils and Aeronauts, “may be purchased in the Friends of BAHM Gift Shop with Cash or Credit for $35.00 each. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the museum’s newest exhibit “Bartlesville Though out the Decades,” on display from January 13th through April 13th. Tables and chairs will be set up for people who bring a lunch, and little ones may enjoy our history coloring station and games!
The Museum is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (closed on weekends and holidays) at 401 S. Johnstone Avenue, 5th Floor. If you have questions, you may reach Bartlesville Area History Museum staff at (918) 338-4290 or eat0@eau0eav0eaw0.
