A legendary, OG, Tulsa retro-rocker and rebel, Americana songsmith Brian Parton joins us for his first trip into the Grey Dog for a solo night of songs and interesting stories and observations. Parton has been a decades long fixture in the Tulsa music scene keeping sideburns, hot rods, rolled up jeans and real rock-n-roll alive. His iconic band The Nashville Rebels was known for their firebrand shows- bringing all the heat of Jerry Lee Lewis and the simplistic honesty of Johnny Cash to their fans. The years since he’s focused on solo work, often diving into introspective lyrics and showing a softer romantic side of the rock-n-roll rebel stereotype. Brian is witty, organic and raw- everything rock-n-roll used to be. Hope to see y'all there- regular deal- 7pm doors, 8pm show- bringing your own libations and a donation for the artist.
