Posted: May 16, 2019

On Tuesday, June 4, Washington County Commissioner Mike Bouvier of District 2 will present a program 12 -1:30 p.m., on the subject of bridges, in conjunction with the current BAHM exhibit, “Bridges of Washington County.”

“One of Washington Counties most historic sites is the very beginning of Bartlesville itself: the Carr-Bartles community on the north side of the Caney River across the Cherokee Avenue Bridge, and while the Cherokee Bridge on U.S. Highway 75 has certainly had the most travel in the county. In recent years, it has been the focus of the State Oklahoma, as ODOT prepares to replace it after 82 years.
