Tour the home of J. Wood & Eva Payne Glass, which was designed by John Duncan Forsyth and has become one of Nowata’s main attractions. Tours by reservation only. Mr. Glass was a pioneer in the development of the Nowata oil fields and on of the founders of the State Federal Savings and Loan (which later became the Trust Company of Oklahoma) and the Victory National Bank. Eva was one of the founders of the La Kee Kon Garden Club in 1903.
