Welcoming all levels of experience, this workshop is the only one of its kind in our area. Rehearse and perform monologues and scenes, learn how to prep for auditions in a supportive and creative environment.
Instructor, Shelby Brammer worked as an actress in film, TV and theater (Kramer vs. Kramer, Nadine, Places in the Heart, ABC TV series, Breaking Away). She holds an MFA from the Playwrights Workshop and Directing Program at the University of Iowa, and in Austin, Texas, she served as the Theater Department Chair at Austin Community College for over a decade.
As a former Artistic Director at Theater Bartlesville, she has directed numerous shows in the area, including Greater Tuna by Joe Sears and Jaston Williams at the Heritage Theater and Aunt Pearl’s Christmas Eve by Dan Gordon at the BCC. Most recently, she directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Gunsmoke for the Unity Square Green Stage.
“Finding a class like this in Bartlesville is a real coup for a community
dedicated to the Arts.”
