OLLI Class: Perspectives: A New Point of View

Tuesday, May 15, 2018

to Tuesday, May 29, 2018

Dealing with people who think differently than you can be exhausting or exhilarating, depending on your perspective. Kevin Bennett and his co-facilitators will help you develop the skills to find more exhilaration and lessen frustration. Explore different perspectives on money, politics, and religion. Learn about the vastly different mindsets of people living in poverty, middle class, and wealth. Investigate polarity management, an alternative to the “either/or” thinking that separates people when it comes to politics and religion. You’ll learn to live in the exhilarating tension that can be found with “both/and” thinking. Invite someone who frustrates you to attend this class with you. You’ll both leave feeling better! Kevin Bennett is a lifelong Bartlesville resident with a passion for big ideas and broad perspectives. He makes his living as a real estate investor, and enjoys learning, taking classes, teaching for OLLI, and traveling with his wife, Cindy.
