
Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department Celebrates National Travel and Tourism Week With Trip-a-Day Giveaw
The department will hold daily scavenger hunts in seven cities across the state.
The Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department is announcing a week of events in coordination with National Travel and Tourism Week (May 7 – 13). Starting Saturday, May 7, OTRD will launch scavenger hunts across the state in partnership with seven cities. Prizes include restaurant gift cards, shopping gift cards and two-night stay grand prizes.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with our partners in tourism both nationally and in Oklahoma to continue telling the story of what makes Oklahoma a top travel destination,” said OTRD Executive Director, Shelley Zumwalt. “From our Oklahoma State Parks to the rich history of each city and town, our state truly has something for everyone.”
During Travel and Tourism week, travelers can visit Oklahoma Tourism and Information Centers or State Park Gift Shops for 15% off all merchandise. Information about the Trip-a-Day Giveaway and clues for the scavenger hunts will be posted to TravelOK and Oklahoma State Park social media channels.
