Lots to do in Bartlesville this week!

Return to full Blog

How has your summer been so far? Here at the CVB we have had people ask “what is there to do in Bartlesville”? Our answer is that there is always something to do in Bartlesville. We thought we would give you some ideas of things to do this week. Children’s Musical Theatre will present “Peter Pan” starting Thursday July 17 to Sunday July 20. This musical is based on J.M. Barrie’s classic tale and it is sure to bring out your inner child so you won’t want to miss this event! On Saturday July 19th there will be a flea market fundraiser at the Cooper Dog Park across from Lowe’s. The money raised from booth rental will go to help maintain Cooper Dog Park. Be sure to stop by and shop. You are sure to find some great bargains! There will be a Mad Hatter Casino Night benefiting Family Crisis & Counseling Center on Saturday July 19th at Hillcrest Country Club; tickets for this event are $100. This evening will feature a cash bar, casino tables, silent auction and a buffet dinner. There will also be a live auction for a number of big items including a seven-day cruise for 2 on Holland America plus a $500 airfare voucher, hot air balloon rides for 4, a stay for 2 in Cabo San Lucas. Something new this year is a special raffle for one’s choice of 3 great vacations: to Nashville to attend the Country Music Awards show; to San Diego, to sail aboard the America’s Cup yacht Stars and Stripes; or to California’s Sonoma wine country. Raffle tickets are $25 each or 3 for $50. You are bound to have a fun filled evening at this event and you will be helping a great cause! In our next blog we will talk about more things to do in and around Bartlesville!
