
International Photographer to exhibit in Bartlesville
During December 2023, in the Bartlesville Community Center (The Center) is a beautiful display of fine-art photography by Michael Louthan CTS-D. Michael is an internationally recognized and published landscape photographer raised in Bartlesville. This exhibit of large images shows the interplay of light on landscape and includes his travels this year to Patagonia, Norway, Iceland, Canada, Indonesia; as well as the Southwest US.
Michael Louthan, a Bartlesville native, graduate of Sooner High School (1971) and Phillips University (1975) will exhibit framed photography representing his most recent world travel. This display of remote international landscapes will include framed images and large acrylics. All items will be for sale with alternate sizes available on order.
A reception will be held Saturday December 2, 2023 between 5-7PM with refreshments. Michael will host an additional reception on Sunday, December 3 in the afternoon between 1-5PM. The fine art will be on display during December in regular building hours.
The Lyon Gallery (3rd floor) and Community Center Building were designed and built by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. And share the plaza with the Wright-designed Price Tower, his only skyscraper. It’s a wonderful place for an evening stroll.

Bob Fraser, Former CEO of Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve will be offering and signing copies of his latest book “Frankly Speaking – Tales of Frank Phillips and the Magic of Woolaroc”
Extra special guest is Mrs Tommie (Payne) Flegal, First Grade Educator Emeritus and Michael’s 1959 first grade teacher from Bartlesville Will Rogers also joined by her daughter Julie Smallwood.
